OK, first things first ... today I am thankful for being able to read a recipe and and trying to cook. I have to admit, Zack is a much much better cook then I am but I sure as heck give it a try. Last night I tried this really amazing Quinoa salad and chicken dish. All was great in the end, maybe even better then great .... however let me give you all a BIG warning, when cutting or touching a jalapeno make sure to NEVER touch any part of your body!!! I am pretty sure I touched my lips and rubbed my nose .... wow, what a feeling and it burns like no other!!! And you might think I would have learned my lesson when I did the same thing about 12 years ago when making soup for my Dad one day .... but NO!! With all that said, I am still very thankful for trying to learn to cook. Just so you know, everyday this month I will be posting what I am thankful for and so will my girls over at Paisley Print Shoes!! You should join in too if you would like!!
On another note, this outfit is from a couple days ago and it was a little chilly out. Now with that being said, I know that many of you are in almost full blown winter so please don't take this as complaining!! I am a born and raised Canadian and I KNOWN my winters!! Winnipeg and Calgary (2 places I have lived) are darn cold! But look at that tiny little tree behind me, it actually has leaves that are changing colors and falling!! Seriously, I love fall and this as good as it really gets when you live close to the ocean ... I will take it any way I can!
i didn't know you were canadian!! my best friend is canadian (rainy river ontario). i love love love the boots. they're fantastic. :)
