Favorite Things

Here are some of the things that I just can't live without in my life ( well I probably could but I choose not to, ha!).  When I used to live in Canada I found it so expensive to have a magazine subscription, now living it the US it's way cheaper so I have many.  These are my favorite 3, Oxygen, Oprah Magazine and In Style.  Between the 3 of them I find I get everything I need, clothing to fitness and then a little bit of just plain old good reading.

This is Redken's Hair cleansing cream, which is a shampoo to help remove buildup.  All of a sudden I was feeling like at the crown of my head I just couldn't get it clean, it was always feeling oily and gross.  Then I stumbled up this and my whole world changed, I use it twice a week, sometimes more if I have been using a ton of hair product.

Next is two things that I truly could not live without when it comes to my face.  The larger white cream filled bottle is called Hourglass Veil.  Let me tell you, if you are a oily faced gal like I am (and it drives me crazy!) this stuff is heaven!!  I will admit that it is a little spendy, 50 dollars approximately at Sephora.  I also want to take this time to tell you, if you don't already know, when you go to Sephora they will give you samples of anything you want, and I mean a BIG one.  When I bought the Hourglass Veil I was a little skeptical about it and the lovely lady that was helping me gave me a sample that lasted me almost a month!  So make sure you ask for your sample ladies!  This face primer makes you skin free like silk and fills in all those little lines while helping you stay free from shine, MAGIC is what I call it!  The other is from MAC, I use it as a base for my eyeshadow.  Once again the oil gets the best of me so I need something to help make that eyeshadow stick.  This stuff works great as a primer and the price is very reasonable.

Last but not least is the MAC Fix +.  This stuff is new to me but I am really liking it.  You use it after you are all done applying your makeup.  It helps to keep everything locked in and gives your face a real dewy kinda look.  It also has a very faint hint of smell, which is sweet and very enjoyable.

  4. You may have changed my life with that shampoo! I am always on the search for a really good shampoo. (I'm a snob who only buys salon brand, haha). That one sounds well worth a try for sure! :)
