Opps, sorry about the unexplained disappearance there for two days.  Once again Vegas got us ... living in San Diego means a lot of impromptu Vegas trips!!  We decided late Sunday night that we were going to go so we packed up real quick and made it there in 4 hours.  We then got to spend 2 full days eating drinking and gambling .... and we left up so to me that is a great trip!!

These are just a few pictures from last week when it was really nice and sunny .... it is no longer like that around here!  Let me just say this .... I know that most of the country is covered in snow so with that in mind I really am not complaining .... hey, I am from Canada after all!!!  I hope your Monday is wonderful  ... well as wonderful as a Monday can be.

I am without a doubt having a love hate relationship with this here maxi skirt.  I love how comfortable it is, but on the other hand I have a hard time styling it.  In all honesty I want to wear it pretty much every day .... the real problem is styling it.  The problem I have is trying to get it not to feel too frumpy.  Do you ever experience this .... how do you deal with this and style you maxi skirt??  This girl need some help!

First off  I really want to thank every one of you who checked out my photos yesterday and gave me your opinion on which one you thought I should use.  I really appreciate you taking the time to do that for me and it has helped a lot .... I almost have it narrowed down ... so thank you so much!!  If you haven't checked them out please feel free to do so and and let me know what you think.  On another note .... don't you just love the combo of teal and tan together ... ahh, I just love it!  And once again Target hits a home run ... this shirt is my new love.

Out In The Country

So believe this or not but this is right in our back yard by the railroad tracks!  I love how if you do it right you can make any location look great ... just think of all those back alley photos we bloggers take!!  This is the second part to our photo shoot ..... I think I like these ones better.  Here is the thing ... A Photo Shoot

Last night Zack and I spent most of the day trying to get a good profile picture for my website.  This is the aftermath of it all .... I realized I might as well try and get some blog photos.  The sun was just about down and the red orange glare was really hard to work with so please don't mind the weird coloring in these photos.  This is one of the outfits that I wore for the photo shoot.

It's funny, red really isn't a color that I have much of in my wardrobe until lately.  I find myself really trying to add new colors to my closet all the time.  It is hard however cause I always find myself gravitating to the same bright colors and I for sure need to add more neutrals to my wardrobe!  What about you guys .... what colors do you find you are drawn to for the most part???  

Ski Bunny

The truth is there is no skiing going on in this post.  I would however wear this if I was cruising around a ski resort .... well, maybe with a few more layers though!  Like everywhere else in the country, it has been much colder than usual around here and it has called for pulling out some of my much warmer clothing.  I am just grateful if doesn't snow here in San Diego ... I have 28 years of that while living in Canada .... and I am not going to lie .... I just don't miss the snow.

Nothing better than just throwing on some big glasses and rocking a bright and vibrant outfit!!  That is what we have here folks .... you can see me in this sweater a mile away!!  Oh, and one more thing ... these boots are the best I have bought in some time ... and believe me when I tell you cause I am a wimp when it comes to heels!!  I can't wear these lovely booties around all day and not have sore feet .... AMAZING!!

Yesterday was a day of running errands .... and comfort is a must for this!!  If you have been around here I guess you would realize that comfort pretty much all the time is a must for this girl!!  Nothing better than some comfy shoes and stretchy pants to make it a good day!
