boots - ebay, tights - old! not sure, shirt dress - boutique in PB, belt - carlsbad boutique, bracelet - world market
Ya, I know .... I live super close to the ocean, why the fake stuff right?! Well, the weather has been super gloomy lately so this was a great way to add some color to these photos. It is on the wall at a bike shop right by our house ... cheesy as it is it sure helped out these photos. So I have had these tights for years, I think I bought them at a Canadian store called Bootlegger!! They have been so great to me, not see through and fit amazingly, but sadly they have a hole. I need to know where do you all buy your tights from?? What is the best brands out there and why?? Please help a girl, I have no idea... I want ones that I can wear even if my shirt isn't quite long enough and by bum peaks out ... you know what I mean right?!? In other words they have to be thick and not see through. Let me know what you think if you have a favorite brand, I am open to suggestions.
I swear by my black jeggings (jolt from b.p. - around $30). they're thick enough to be pants and keep me warm (and not be see-thru) but thin enough to still look like leggings. I think j brand makes some good ones too, they're just more expensive. good luck! and cute top!! xo
ReplyDeleteYou are adorable! Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog! Yep, LA and SD are both pretty gloomy these days! following you :) I hope you visit again soon! www.casualglamorous.com
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit girl...you do simple so well because it ends up NOT looking too simple! (does that make sense?)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm in the same boat as you with leggings. I have a couple but they're not always what I need & I'm most likely not going to spend more than about $15 on leggings.
I've had luck at Target - just make sure you're getting the leggings & not the tights! I've also found some at Wet Seal - they usually have patterned ones as well. I've also grabbed a pair from the Hanes outlet but those had holes after the 3rd wear so I'd steer clear there.
Keep us posted if you end up finding some cuz I'm in the market too! :o)
Get tights anywhere cheap. Don't pay more than $20! (most expensive I have ever brought were $20 from Urban Outfitters, and that was 2 years ago and they still haven't ripped!).

I actually get mine at Target! I get Assets - made by the same lady who does Spanx, but for a lot cheaper! They're lovely and thick, perfect for the winter here. I think they'd still work in temperate climates though.
ReplyDeleteI, as well as the previous commenter, buy mine at Target, the brand Assets, they r amazing, and also have control top ones, IF u need that, they r thick, and so far the best ones i have ever found!U look super cute, as always:)
