I definitely have favorites in my closet ... and this dress and vest seem to be up there on the list!  I last bit of summer weather here in Southern California has been amazing ... so crazy hot and this dress is the best thing in hot weather.

This is a new purchase from good old Target ... and I love it!  The color is perfect and the cut is amazing as well ... thank you Target for always having something new and awesome to buy!!

In a Knot

I am not completely sure how I feel about the knotted shirt deal ... I mean ... kinda feel like I am in the 80's again.  It is one of those things that I just love on other people but then when I give it a try the love just fades .... ahhh, the joy of getting dressed!  Anyways, as of this weekend my life gets crazy busy .... one of me best friends and her man are coming down for a visit from Canada, then we are off to Vegas and then PERU!!!  Please forgive me for the lack of posting but I am going to try to keep it up ... we will see!

Pretty in Pink

These something that I love so much about wearing a whole outfit in soft colors.  This is a perfect example of that .... the only problem is that I don't have many items in closet that fit into this color palette.  I think the reason is cause I am a natural born spiller .... if it is light in color you bet I will find something to spill on it.  My light clothes only last so long for this girl .... ahh, to not be a "spiller"!!

Something About Hearts

I have been really loving all the heart pattern prints out there lately.  This is my second purchase of a heart pattern and I have a feeling it won't be the last.  This is a new purchase from Old Navy, sometimes their stuff is hit or miss but I am really loving this dress ... super comfortable and colors that I don't own.

Back To School

Nope, I am not going back to school but Everybody, Everywear sure the heck is.  If you haven't checked out this blog you really should ... they come up with a theme to wear for the month and then everyone links back with their version of it .... so much fun!!!  Anyways, I have always wanted to be a teacher and I feel this is my go to "teacher" look.  I think I would be one of the those way too over dressed teachers all the time ... but that is kinda my life in general.  I would rather be a little overdressed then under dressed ... nothing wrong with standing out in a crowd!

Monday Moring Blues

When I originally bought these shorts from the Gap I was a little worried they might be a bit hard to remix.  It turns out that they aren't that bad, they have been my go to shorts for the summer and I have really liked them and found a ton of ways to wear them.  I think it is the color that makes re-mixable.

Sometimes when you have a great skirt it does all the work for you, so I decided to just pair it with a simple t-shirt and go.  I have been seeing a whole bunch of lovely blogger ladies doing such and I jumped on that train!!   Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

This is just a little something I wore while setting up for a big Bat Mitzvah that we did last weekend. We took these photos on the balcony of the La Jolla Birch Aquarium ... so pretty right?!?  I purchased this shirt a while back but have found it a bit hard to wear.  The reason I bought it and love it is because of the back of it ... longer and has this cute little knot.  However, it doesn't do well tucked in and most things it is too long for.  I still have some major love for it and with continue to challenge myself to wear it, I love a good challenge!

White What

Yes, I am fully aware that it is after Labor Day and I am wearing white ... and I really don't care!!  Who made that silly rule anyway ... why would I ever want to buy clothes that had such limitations ... I say go for it, wear white all the time .... it always looks great.  I also had to work all weekend long and did not get to truly enjoy Labor Day so for me it didn't really happen which means I can wear white all fall and winter long .... ha, take that Labor Day!!

New Pumps

I am pretty sure I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of leopard print pumps for what feels like FOREVER!  And here they are ... found at good ol' Macy's and made by Anne Klein ... can't say I have ever own anything by Anne Klein but I am pretty in love with these shoes!  They are a bit high for my liking .... I am a really big wimp when it comes to heels ... but I love them!
