Alright ladies, lets talk about something really important here .... HAIR!!  Yes, I know there are way more important things out there but this one just gets to me.  You see I got my hair done yesterday by somebody totally new.  My old stylist left the world of doing hair ... so sad ... she was amazing!!   Yesterday I went ahead and saw another stylist at the same salon but didn't leave quite as happy.  There really is something to be said for having the same person do your hair, they know how you like it and what you want.  I really hate going back to get something "fixed" or changed ... I feel like a ass.  They always ask if I like it once it is blown out and of course the answer is yes ... but then when I get home in my "own light" and really analyze it it is not.  Ahhh ... so off I go to the salon again today to give it another try ... maybe I am just too picky ... but with the hefty price to get my hair done I feel I should just love it ... ya know??  What do you do if you are not happy with your hair ... do you just live with it or do you go back???

So I figured it was time for my love of stripes and polka dots to come together!!  They like each other! Now lets talk about the color red ... it is a color that doesn't really live in my closet.  I am not really sure why but I think I am a little afraid of it.  These shoes I just couldn't hold back on but I do realize I always have a hard time finding something to wear with them.  What would you wear with these awesome little red shoes?? What are your favorite colors to pair with red???

Holy moley .... clearly I didn't realize yesterday that everything I am wearing is from Target .... I guess the cat is out of the bag ... I am in love with Target.  How do they do it ... I run in for toothpaste and then I come out with a whole outfit ... one that I love of course!!  O.k. ... other than my Target obsession ... crocheting!!!  Seriously, I am on a roll!!  I have made tow hats now and a hand full of slippers ... I am a crocheting maniac!  The things you can learn from YouTube these days, gotta love the technology world we live in ... right?!?!

This is my very first go around with a maxi skirt ... at first I was concerned that they were going to be tricky to style but I must say .... the comfort is worth every little worry!  I first saw this gorgeous maxi on the lovely blog Chic on the Cheap ... she just wore it so well I figured I had to give it a go.  Now I like this way of wearing it but I am not too sure what else to do with it.  I also bought the off white colored one and am debating on whether or not I am going to keep it.  So how do you wear your maxi skirt ... help a girl out!

Ok, so a little confusing maybe ... I am not wearing a single thing from JCrew here.  I did however get this outfit from their latest look book ... so thank you JCrew!!  And in other news ... I was a little bored last weekend so I learned how to crochet ... yup, I sure did.  I used a good old youtube video and after six or so hours and really sore fingers I made myself this little hat.  I am not gonna lie ... I am kinda liking crocheting ( I know, super cool right?!?) ... I have made two hats now and I am off to try some slippers soon ... what out now!

So, according to the Hubby this outfit says I am going out to ride a horse.  I found that really funny for some reason, I chalk it up to the new boots ... they are high and I am wearing white pants ... so maybe one day I will ride a horse in this outfit ... until now it just gets to make an appearance on my blog.  Now let me tell you something else ... this little outfit didn't just appear in my brain out of no where ... oh no, I got my inspiration from this lovely lady!!   Yes, I am a thief ... but you got to check out her blog ... tons of great outfit ideas!!  Her name is Audrey and her blog is Putting Me Together ... so go check it out!

There is a whole bunch of things going in this post!  First off, it is Everybody Everywear time and the winning theme was boots!  How could you go wrong with that ... if you haven't checked out the Everybody Everywear blog please do ... it is a great link up!  Also ... this is my first purchase from Ruche ... and I am in love with this vest ... it finally got cool enough around here to get to wear it!  You might see a bit of a difference in my photos in this post and that would be cause I had to do them all by my self ... I mean without my awesome husband to boss around.  Man, I give all you ladies who do it with a tripod and remote so so so much credit ... this stuff is hard to do solo!  Oh ya, I also stole this outfit from Pinterest .... twice in one week ... man, I am on a role!!

Don't be fooled, I know it looks really nice out here in these photos but it is actually starting to cool down here in San Diego.  I have to say I am little happy about it cause I get to pull out some of my warmer clothing ... like this here new cardigan from Target!  Have you been to target lately???  Some seriously cute stuff ... oh Target, you have my heart!

Some days I am just so thankful for Pinterest!  I mean you know those days where you just stare blankly at your closet even though you have so much clothing ... well, I have been having those days a bit too much lately!  Lucky for me the one time I wondering around Pinterest I found a outfit something like this and actually remembered to pin it ... for once not just looking and wasting time.  If you would like to follow me on Pinterest please do so here.

Here is a little something I have learned since I have started my blog ... sometimes buying cheaper clothes isn't always better just because of the price.  Before I had this little old blog of mine I never would have thought twice about it.  I would just buy what I liked ... didn't really matter the price, though if it was kinda expensive I would hum and haw over it forever.  Now with having a blog, and seeing most of my clothes photographed my mind has seriously changed!  I give my clothes a much more thorough check through .... like the cut, the stitching, the material.  Don't get me wrong, I still shop at those big box stores ... I just make sure that what I am purchasing is just right ... cause we all want our money to go a long way right?!?!  How about you, do you only buy quality clothing or do you prefer the better price????

So here is the thing ... I love these little booties but I ordered them online and I think that might be the only reason I kept them.  You see, they really aren't all that comfortable.  They looked great online ... they seemed like the perfect heel height and all, but the truth is there just isn't any cushioning under the ball of the foot and because of that I just can't wear these boots all that long.  I find that whenever I buy shoes online I just end up keeping them ... so no more, I will from now on only buy my shoes if I can try them on first .... well, hopefully ... I am such a addicted internet shopper!!
